Drop Everything and Read
Everyday the children are given 15 minutes for reading by them selves or with a partner. They are able to self select a book to read and share.
Many of the children are learning to read a story by looking at the pictures in the book. We call this a walk through. Try doing this at home with your child and then read the story.
