Hello and Welcome to Second Grade!

My name is Mrs. Tocchet and I will be your teacher this year.  I'm looking forward to meeting you and learning about what makes you special.  It will be fun to see old friends again and to make new ones.

We have a wonderful class and an exciting year ahead of us!  In second grade we will study dinosaurs, bats, sharks, rocks, Hawaii, ranches and lots more!  We will learn about the lives of famous Americans and then get to perform in a play.  This is one of my favorite activities of the year!  Let me know what other things you would like to learn as we read read, read about new people, places and things!
