National Honor Society Selection Process
The National Honor Society is beginning its selection process. Juniors and Seniors who qualify academically are encouraged to apply. To qualify, students must have a cumulative weighted average of 92, or a cumulative unweighted average of 89. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday at 2:30. Interested students should check their email or the daily announcements for a meeting code and information to join the google classroom set up for this purpose. Parents and students can email Mrs. Roffman with questions.

Softball (2:45) - This will be both virtual and in person, so if you are a virtual student, please join the class code qnw6oiq to join the meeting. We will talk about tryouts, equipment needed and the upcoming season. In order to try out, you need your own glove and cleats and an UPDATED PHYSICAL even if you played a sport in the previous two seasons. Newspaper Club (2:30) - We will be taking the club picture for the yearbook, so all members are encouraged to attend! We will also look at and discuss the results of the student polls and the work that needs to be done for the publication of our pandemic issue.

Dress Up Days:
April is the Month of the Military Child. To celebrate, S2S is sponsoring different activities and events. We ask that you dress up on certain days to recognize our students from military families. On these days, you are allowed to wear a hat if it is in line with the theme for that day. You can also alter your virtual background to match the theme.

Attention Fashion Club Members! We are having a very important meeting this Wednesday, April 14th at 10:40am. We will be discussing and planning our clothing drive. Spring Track Sign-ups:
Sign-ups for spring track will be held Monday April 12th thru Thursday April 15th. Sign-ups can be done by emailing Coach Flynn at john.flynnAhffmcsd.org.
JV and Varsity Baseball:
Anybody interested in trying out for the JV/Varsity Baseball team, please get in touch with Coach Arduino or Coach Breitfeller if you haven't already. Tryouts for JV/Varsity will begin April 19th at 3:00 on the baseball field.
Red Cross Club:
A final meeting prior to our blood drive will be this Wednesday 4/14 at 12:00pm in between extra help sessions. The meeting will be brief: we will be going over strategies for promoting the blood drive. If you are unable to make it, please make sure to check Google classroom for updates. Also if you are able to volunteer at the West Point blood drive this week from the 12th-15th please check the announcement on classroom for more info!

Girls Lacrosse:
Interested in playing Girls Lacrosse this spring? Sign ups are happening now. A lacrosse stick, mouth guard, goggles and up to date physical are needed.

Students from Military families - S2S is looking to highlight some of the unique experiences of our military students in honor of April being the Month of Military Children. Please take two minutes to fill out this questionnaire on places you have lived around the world. We would appreciate it if you could submit your answers by Friday, 4/16.

Student Council Present the Mr. OHS 2021 Pageant:
Do you want to be the next Mr. OHS? Academically eligible juniors and seniors can compete in our annual Mr. OHS pageant that will take place VIRTUALLY this year. Contestants will create videos to compete in our Bachelor-style competition to earn the coveted title. Each competitor will represent a charity during the competition and the winner’s charity will receive a donation from Student Council in their name. The first place winner of Mr. OHS will also receive two prom tickets or gift card option. The second place winner will receive one prom ticket or a gift card option as well.
