Clubs Happening Today
Raider Readers - Raiders! Welcome back to the new school year. We are so excited to talk about our summer reading in Raider Readers. Please join us for our first meeting of 2024 today in room 338. We will be discussing future events, books for the upcoming year and our summer contest! Hopefully you were able to participate and are preparing your reviews! Don't forget, it is more fun the more people we bring into the club. Mrs. Michaud and I look forward to seeing you all there!
GSA
The Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) will hold its first meeting of the year on Thursday, 9/19 in room 338. We look forward to seeing members of the LBGTQUIA+ community and their allies! See Mrs. Smith with any questions.
Youth in Government
The first meeting of Youth in Government is meeting Wednesday, Sept. 18 after school in room 207. If you cannot make the meeting see Mr. Coyne or Mr. Tompuri
Environmental Club
Are you passionate about protecting the planet and making a difference? The Environmental Club is the perfect place for you! We meet weekly to tackle local and global environmental issues, participate in exciting projects and work together to create a sustainable future. Your voice matters! Come be a part of a community that wants to make a positive change. Meetings start September 20th.
Dungeons & Dragons
Ready for adventure? Join the Dungeons & Dragons Club every Friday and dive into epic quests, slay monsters, and explore dangerous dungeons with friends. Whether you’re a wizard, rogue, or paladin, your story is waiting. Grab your dice, and let’s see if you have what it takes to be a hero! Reading Buddies
Looking to make a difference while having fun? Join the Reading Buddies Club! Once a month, you’ll be paired with a first-grader for a day of reading, activities, and laughter. You’ll help them discover the joy of stories, build their reading skills, and create a lasting connection. It’s a chance to be a mentor, share your love of reading, and grow alongside your buddy! Don’t miss out on this rewarding experience! First meeting for all returning members is Wednesday, September 18th @ 2:30 pm in the library. For students in Grades 9-12. Please note: You must have a senior portrait taken whether or not you are purchasing a photo package! If you are not purchasing a photo package, then you can sign up for a free yearbook photo session where they will take only the yearbook photo
