The annual general fund budget is an essential ingredient in the financial planning, control and evaluation process of the school district. The school district is required to prepare an annual operating budget which provides the financial plan or road map for the upcoming budget year. The approved budget provides the spending authority for the various purposes of the school district and the means of financing those proposed expenditures.
