My Teaching Experience
This year will be my seventeenth year teaching at Highland Falls Intermediate School. In the past sixteen years I have taught a few different classes: 4th grade, 5th through 8th grade math, 5th through 8th grade math AIS, 5th grade reading, and 5th grade computers. This year I am looking forward to teaching 5th grade math again! I love where I work, the people I work with and most of all the students. Being a teacher is a challenge that I look forward to waking up and going to each day.
My Educational Background
In 2002, I received my bachelor's degree from Mount Saint Mary College. My program of study was elementary education (N-6) & special education (N-12) with a major in math. In 2007, I recieved my master's degree for a middle school math extension (7-9).
I look forward to being in class with you all. I am sure that we all have a lot to share and learn from each other. Thank you in advance!
