In FMES we will perform various skills ranging from locomotor movements to tumbling,parachute, volleyball skills, basketball, soccer, bowling, cooperative games, tag, physical fitness, striking, and plenty more. I like to work in stations as well as introduce many games new to children. I have some rules to follow in my gym: Sneakers, keep hands and feet to yourself, empty mouth and pockets, respect teacher and others, listen to teacher, and have fun! Yoga we perform numerous poses and even partner poses. Games are also played in Yoga as well as yoga videos. In yoga, we also tell stories and the students will have to perform the pose that they hear in the story. Jump for Heart is a popular event in this school and has been for 19 years. This will take place in March! I ask parents and guardians to please make sure your child has sneakers in their cubby because without sneakers, they are not allowed to participate in the fun! I also encourage you to go to class dojo for your child's performance in P.E. I look forward to having a very fun and successful year. Go Raiders!
