Attention S2S Members. We will be hosting our St. Patty's Day Celebration on Wednesday, March 20th, at 2:30 in the library. Test your luck, win prizes and join us for a Scavenger Hunt! Mental Health Club
Want to go into Spring Break feeling relaxed? Come join the Mental Health Club for some yoga and snacks. We will meet on Friday, March 22nd, at 2:30 in the cardio room =) Any questions, please email Mrs. FitzSimmons or Ms. Gonzalez!
Red Cross Club
Red Cross members! We will have a membership meeting on Wednesday, 3/20, to discuss financial earnings and potential upcoming fundraisers/events in the Spring. Please attend if you are able! If not, please let Mr. Marcinak or Ms. Gonzalez know and check the Google classroom for updates.
Senior Class Trip Update
The due date for permission slips and initial deposit to go on the Senior Class Trip has been extended to Friday, March 22nd at 2:30PM. The date of the Powder Puff Football game has been changed to June 12th and will no longer conflict with the Senior Trip to Dorney Park. Any interested students should hand in a signed permission slip with $40 cash or check to Mr. Rao in room 322.
Raider Readers
Raider Readers! We had a great meeting yesterday and will complete our discussion on Good Girl's Guide to Murder next Thursday 3/21. Posted on Google classroom is a comment section for the genre of our next book, Classics, in which we would like you to post your selection! A google form will be created and votes for our Classic book will need to be in by Monday, 3/18. Books will be purchased and distributed on 3/21! Any questions, please see Mrs. Michaud or Ms. Gonzalez! We hope you join us =)
Chess Club
Come join the Chess Club. Experienced players and people wanting to learn are welcome. We will meet on Tuesdays at 2:30 PM in room 208. Hope to see you there!

Zen Den
Come to the Zen Den and relax with friends, or book a time just for your club. I promise you won't regret it. There will be a comfy mat and pillow waiting for you, and you will leave feeling rejuvenated. Come Zen Out Wednesdays in Rm. 220, in Mrs. Viano's room.
Art Club
Would you like to work on a special art project? Paint a wall mural? Would you like to work more in a medium you have always enjoyed? Come to the Art Club! Meetings are on Thursdays in Room 161, 2:30-3:15 PM. See Ms. Smith (Art) in Room 161 for more information.
Dungeons & Dragons
Come and join our D&D club. We will be fighting off monsters and journeying through the endless universe of D&D. Make sure you get your dice ready and fight to become the legendary force you have always wanted to be! We will meet every Friday after expanded day in room 161, which is right across from the cafeteria. Please see Ms. Smith (Art) if you have any questions.
Literary Magazine
Literary Magazine meets every Friday at 2:25 PM in room 326. If you’re interested in the arts and looking for a community of like-minded individuals, please join us!

Guidance - College Acceptances
Seniors,
Please remember to forward a copy of your college acceptances to the guidance office.
You are welcome to forward them digitally to Ms. Henricksen, our guidance secretary, or print out a hard copy and hand it in. Additionally, you need to update your application outcomes in your Naviance Student account.
Follow these steps below to do so:
1. Select Colleges and then select Colleges I'm Applying To.
2. Choose Edit for the college to update.
3. Update the details in the Results section.
4. Click Update Applications.
Email your School Counselor with any questions and be sure to continue to update this information as you receive acceptances.

The 2023 - 2024 PTSC Scholarship Application is now available!
DUE DATE: APRIL 2, 2024
Each year the PTSC has graciously contributed scholarships and awards to our seniors. The PTSC scholarship is open to seniors of active members of the PTSC. This year the JIO PTSC is not taking part in the common scholarship application. We have created our own scholarship application that we feel fits our diverse membership.

Reading Buddies Club Brick Fundraiser:
Are you looking to honor your grad? Would you like to leave a legacy for your student or club? Purchase a brick for the James I. O’Neill Student Walkway. This fundraiser, run by the O’Neill Reading Buddies Club, will use the money collected to grow our program and build a scholarship fund. Our club will use the money to purchase books, craft materials, and other needed supplies to create an enhanced literary experience for Big and Little Buddies alike. We also look forward to raising funds for author visits, trips, and other enriching endeavors. In addition, funds will be used to build a college/post-secondary scholarship fund. Click on Hi Guest in the upper right corner and create an account. Follow the directions to purchase a book. The books are $75.00 each and now include the World Yearbook pamphlet! You have the option (by 1/15/24) to order a one-line name stamp for an additional $5.00. There are also options for an autograph supplement and a clear plastic dust jacket. You can also purchase a “Spirit Bundle” which includes a yearbook and all 3 options (name stamp, autograph supplement, and dust jacket) for $90.00.
