College Acceptance Letters:
Attention Seniors: Please make sure to provide a copy of your college acceptances and any scholarships you receive to Ms. Henricksen in the guidance office. Please make sure to update Naviance to indicate where you have been accepted.
Highland Falls Public Library:
The Highland Falls Public Library is looking for teens interested in starting a volunteer advisory club to brainstorm Teen Programming there. If you are interested, please reach out to Ms. Ortiz at 845-446-3113 or email her mortiz@rcls.org.
Building Giants:
Do you need volunteer opportunities or peer support groups? Join the WEST POINT CADETS for the BUILDING GIANTS mentorship. Open to 9th- 12th graders. Please meet with your Guidance Counselors and/or myself, Mrs. Simmons- Cameron for more information and DATES of UPCOMING meetings.

Red Cross Club:
There will be a full club meeting on Wednesday, February 8th at 2:30 in Ms. G's room. Please bring your chromebook and ideas to advertise for upcoming events in February and March. If you have any questions, please get in touch with one of our officers or Ms. G and make sure to check Google Classroom!
Raider Readers:
We will be meeting on Friday, February 10th to discuss the conclusion of The Girl Who Smiled Beads in Mrs. Michaud's room. Please bring your book to discuss and snacks if you would like. We will also be brainstorming our next book for the third quarter. If you have any questions, Ms. Gonzalez & Mrs. Michaud.
Zen Den:
Want to Zen Out! Come to the Zen Den, you will leave feeling recharged and relaxed. Every Thursday in Room 220. Treat yourself! Also, if you want to bring your club for a special session, just email Ms. Viano at Nicolette.viano@hffmcsd.org.
Mental Health Club:
We will be meeting on Thursday, February 9th at 2:30 in room 238. We will be discussing our guest speaker and reactions to the assembly as well as future plans for the club. Please see Mrs. FitzSimmons or Ms. Gonzalez with any questions. All are welcome!
Open Weight Room:
The days and times for Open Weight Room will be Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 2:30-3:30 PM throughout the Winter Season. For questions or details, please see Dr. Neziri in room 330 or email jill.neziri@hffmcsd.org.
Literary Magazine:
O'Neill's Literary Magazine meets every Friday in room 326 after expanded day. If you enjoy reading, writing, and art, you'll enjoy Lit. Mag. Please join us! New members are always welcome!
Dungeons & Dragons:
Come and join our D&D club. We will be fighting off monsters and journeying through the endless universe of D&D. Make sure you get your dice ready and fight to become the legendary force you have always wanted to be! We will meet every Friday AFTER expanded day, starting at 2:25 and ending at 3:15, in room 161, which is right across from the cafeteria. Please see Ms. Smith (Art) if you have any questions.
Yearbooks are on Sale:
The 2023 Yearbooks are on sale. Go to https://www.yearbookordercenter.com/. Our school code is 4302. Click on Hi Guest in the upper right corner and create an account. Follow the directions to purchase a book. The books are $70.00. You have the option (by 1/15/23) to order a one-line name stamp for $5.00. There are also options for an autograph supplement and a World Yearbook (news pamphlet for the year).
Join the PTSC:
Parents, Teachers & Students: Join the JIO Parent Teacher Student Council (PTSC) – our Raider version of the PTO! You don’t have to volunteer, but you can donate to support our students, teachers and school! The PTSC provides a lot of great information and camaraderie for parents! The PTSC also provides support for our student teams, clubs & scholarships, as well as volunteers to help with events (if you would like to volunteer, but not required).
