Clubs Happening Today:
Girls & Boys Cross Country - For girls and boys interested in running cross country in the fall, there will be an interest meeting today in the gym at 2:30. We hope to see you there.
PTSC Spirit Store:
The store will be open this week on Tuesday, 6/6, Wednesday, 6/7 and Thursday, 6/8 during lunch periods.
The last day the store will be open this school year is Thursday, 6/8.
Yearbook Distribution:
Any student who did not pick up their yearbook on Friday can pick it up from Ms. Valens in the woodshop (room 184) at some point during the day.
Library Contest:
June library contest- How many books, excluding ebooks, were checked out of the library this year. The winning answer will be the closest without going over. Enter your guess at the attendance desk.
JROTC:
JROTC will celebrate Flag Day and the US Army's birthday on June 14, 2023.
S2S:
Hi S2S Members. We will have our END of YEAR S2S party on Wednesday, June 7, at 2:30. We will be celebrating all the hard work and efforts of our this year's officers and S2S team. We will also be having our ELECTIONS for the 2023-24 school year. Please make sure to bring your chromebooks as we will be collecting contact information for the summer events. Please go to the S2S Google classroom to RSVP so we know how much pizza to order!
Interact Club:
Are you ready? Join Interact! The Interact club is going to be back next school year with volunteer work, community service opportunities, and fundraising events. There will be an informational meeting on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7TH in Mr. Marcinak's room (226). This club will be great for anyone looking for leadership experience or community service hours! Bring a friend!
College Acceptance Letters:
Attention Seniors: Please make sure to provide a copy of your college acceptances and any scholarships you receive to Ms. Henricksen in the guidance office. Please make sure to update Naviance to indicate where you have been accepted.
G.S.A.:
Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) is just the club for you. Join us to celebrate rainbows in room 320 at 2:30 PM on (every other) Wednesday!! All are welcome to join us for our bi-weekly check-ins, games and outdoor activities.
Senior Bash:
Attention Seniors!
Senior Bash sign-up time is here.
The Senior Bash is a party held at the school immediately after graduation ending at 1AM. It provides a safe place to celebrate with lots of prizes, games, a DJ, photo booth, food, etc… super fun, and always a senior highlight.

Zen Den:
Stressed? Anxious? Need to Relax? Come to the Zen Den Wednesdays and/or Thursdays and nurture yourself. Starts at 2:30 to 3:00/3:15 in Room 220, Mrs. Viano's room. You will be relaxed and feeling calm. Treat your mind to some spring cleaning and let go of the stress.
Dungeons & Dragons:
Come and join our D&D club. We will be fighting off monsters and journeying through the endless universe of D&D. Make sure you get your dice ready and fight to become the legendary force you have always wanted to be! We will meet every Friday AFTER expanded day, starting at 2:25 and ending at 3:15, in room 161, which is right across from the cafeteria. Please see Ms. Smith (Art) if you have any questions.
Literary Magazine:
O'Neill's Literary Magazine meets every Friday in room 326 after expanded day. If you enjoy reading, writing, and art, you'll enjoy Lit. Mag. Please join us! New members are always welcome!
Environmental Club:
Join the Environmental Club if you want to create a more eco-friendly school! We are hoping to get a garden started and find better ways of dealing with our waste. We meet every other Wednesday in room 320 after expanded day (2:30).

Parents, Teachers & Students: Join the JIO Parent Teacher Student Council (PTSC) – our Raider version of the PTO! You don’t have to volunteer, but you can donate to support our students, teachers and school! The PTSC provides a lot of great information and camaraderie for parents! The PTSC also provides support for our student teams, clubs & scholarships, as well as volunteers to help with events (if you would like to volunteer, but not required).
