This Week's PT

  • Starting in the fall of 2020, the O’Neill JROTC is implementing a new physical training program! Each Friday, various platoon leadership in each class will lead their class in exercises in a military P.T. formation style. Each week, the exercises change the targeted area and style such as cardio, legs, abs, and yoga. This program not only aims to improve the cadet’s Cadet Challenge scores but also their overall health and wellness. The goal of JROTC is to make people better citizens, leaders, and students, and being healthy is fundamental to accomplishing these goals. Studies show that physical activity enhances a student’s mental health, academics, and teaches discipline. Cadets and the O’Neill community can access the weekly workouts and health tips on the physical training tab on the JROTC website!
