Pupil Personnel Services
Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) in a public school are a range of support services designed to address the academic, emotional, social, and behavioral needs of students. These services include counseling, psychological support, special education, health services, career guidance, and interventions for students at risk of academic failure or emotional distress. PPS staff, including school psychologists, social workers, counselors, and nurses, collaborate with educators, families, and community agencies to promote student well-being, enhance academic success, and ensure a positive school experience. The goal is to provide a comprehensive support system to help all students thrive in the school environment.
