Administration
Over the past three years, the district goals have been focused on:
- Improving student achievement in academic performance toward college and career readiness and success on Common Core Assessments
- Improving student achievement by developing health and wellness via physical education and interscholastic athletics instruction
- Improving technology infrastructure and technology use district-wide
- Supporting and improving District Facilities and Infrastructure
We have embraced community involvement as a means of promoting success of our children and have redoubled our efforts to engage with the community at large. We will continue to do so as we believe that, as families, you are your children's best advocate and that families and the school form a wonderful partnership.
We invite you to visit our schools, inquire about the academic programs and activities, and become engaged in the Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery Central School District. The district is bordered by the Hudson River, West Point Military Academy, and Bear Mountain in a picturesque landscape. Students from the communities of Fort Montgomery, Garrison, Highland Falls and West Point attend our high school, James I. O'Neill.
Our educators focus on empowering children to participate in, and take responsibility for their learning. With this website we hope to take the boundaries of the classroom beyond the school and offer you an opportunity to communicate with us.
