My name is Lauren Weller and this is my first year in the Highland Falls-Fort Montgomery Central School District! I am excited to start at James I. O'Niell High School as a Science Special Education Teacher. Previous to this position, I was a Long Term Substitute at North Rockland High School teaching Biology and Ecology for the majority of the 2018-2019 school year. I am also an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Instructor, working with multiple families and thier children. With each of the positions I have held, I have loved my job. I am both thrilled and excited to become part of the HFFMCSD!
When not in the classroom, I enjoy being outside. I have a love for hiking, gardening and spending time with my puppies! I have three dogs- two pitbull-lab mixes (brothers!) and one collie-lab mix. Previous to my experience in education, I have done two internships focusing on environmental conservation (my first love!).
This year, I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of my students! Of course, I am always availible via email with any concerns (email@example.com). Please don't hesitate to reach out and I will try my best to assist you.
