About Our School
-
The Highland Falls Intermediate School was built in 1908 and originally housed all students in grades K- 12. In 2002, the building reopened as a middle school after an extensive six year renovation. Throughout the years the middle school building has held a variety of grade levels. A new transformation occurred in 2010, the transition into Highland Falls Intermediate School, educating students in grades 3-8.
Highland Falls Intermediate School is home to approximately 320 energetic students, 36 faculty members, and a handful of supplemental, support, and custodial staff who enlighten and inspire children on a daily basis.
Highland Falls Intermediate School, in partnership with the home and the community, is committed to developing its students into independent thinkers, lifelong learners, team players and responsible citizens in a safe, stimulating and creative environment. Staff and faculty focus on educating the whole child in a supportive and caring atmosphere where all truly believe, “Students do not care how much you know until they know how much you care.”
