JROTC Orienteering Team Takes Home Champion Trophy

On Saturday December first, the O’Neill JROTC Orienteering Team took home the Champion
trophy for the 12th year in a row against JROTC programs from schools acrossthe North East.
On the advanced course, Amaan Fruitwala and Enoch Crow won first place and Joshua
Rutledge and Bryce Woodbrey won second Place. In the intermediate course, Kate Barnes and
Adelaide Crow won first place and other groups placed in fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth
places. The instruction and leadership of Colonel Bowman and Sergeant Simpkins helped these
cadets succeed in new areas and learn new skills. All participants worked extremely hard and
their individual and group achievements are justly deserved.
